Early Large-Flowered Group (pre 1882 C. Noble) – Named after the last book written by George Eliot. Very large, deep purple-blue flowers with creamy yellow anthers. Early flowers are sometimes semi-double. Also produces exceptional attractive seed heads. Flowers late spring to early and late summer.
