Early Large-flowered Group (pre 1874 G. Jackman & Son) –Extraordinary double, 4-6-in. white flowers that exhibit green overtones in partial shade or cool spring temperatures. The flowers in the second flowering period are somewhat smaller. It does very well for us here at Chalk Hill and seems to love our California climate and long growing season. Flowers late spring through early summer and late summer.
