Heracleifolia Group (1935 R. Brydon) From Cleveland, Ohio, this scrambling, non-clinging, herbaceous clematis produces masses of small white flowers with a sky-blue margin that curls back to reveal a prominent boss of creamy white anthers. Useful as a ground cover, spilling over a wall or under planting around a tree. Flowers mid summer to autumn.
Height: 8-10 feet, Prune hard (3), Zones: 3-9, Sun/ Part Shade.
